Florence Joyner, or “Flo Jo,” was born in Los Angeles in 1959. At the 1984 Olympics, she won a silver medal in the 200-meter run. At the 1988 Olympics, she won three gold medals. Joyner died unexpectedly in 1998 but held Olympic world records. #Biography
